Traditional marketing incrementality testing in travel often focuses on a traveler’s origin geo-testing, but what happens when origin data is sparse, concentrated, or hard to target in practice?

Enter destination testing.
By randomizing users based on where they’re planning to go instead of where they’re coming from, destination testing unlocks robust, representative A/B tests and actionable insights for incrementality measurement.

In this Lunch & Learn, I’ll share the what, why, and how of destination-based experiments. I’ll walk through real-world examples and show how this approach improves control group quality, avoids contamination, and expands your testing capacity. You’ll also see why destination testing is easier to operationalize, even when your partners can’t manage campaigns at fine geographic detail.
