HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDANCE
Our top priority is the safety of our volunteers and delegates. If you feel unwell within the 48 hours leading up to the 26th March 2026, please inform us of your symptoms for our review or please advise us of your non-attendance if you are just too unwell. Additionally, maintaining hygiene on the day of the event is crucial.

Openminded: Allowing people to feel safe to express their truth by having an openminded & empathetic outlook to viewpoints different from your own.

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR
Discrimination: Any form of discrimination is not tolerated, regardless of the protected characteristic. This includes public, private & online incidents.
Harassment: Any form of lack of consent and other boundary crossing, including intimidation, unwanted attention, stalking and invasive photography or recording.
Disrespect: Including ANY member of our community - staff, volunteers and members. As well as disruptive behaviour to the running of the event or sessions, including heckling and talking throughout.
Hierarchical behaviour: All members of our community are of equal importance and any behaviour suggesting differently will not be tolerated, such as cutting line and pushing.
Active by-standing: Advocating or encouraging any of the above unacceptable behaviours, or allowing them to go unreported.
REPORTING AND ENFORCING
If you witness any violation of the Code of Conduct please report it immediately. All reports will be taken seriously & investigated.

CONSEQUENCES
All reports will be fully investigated, ensuring all parties are given the opportunity to speak to Women in Data staff on the matter. Each report will be dealt with on a case by case basis, consequences may include:
- Warnings
- Expulsion from the flagship event
- Banning from future Women in Data events
- Law enforcement contact if appropriate
WOMEN IN DATA® VOLUNTEER CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
I. The Parties. This Volunteer Non-Disclosure Agreement, referred to as the “Agreement”, applies the Volunteer Signing Below, referred to as the “Volunteer”, associated with and/or involved in the events or activities or affairs of Women in Data Limited located at 6 Prisma Park, Berrington Way, Basingstoke Hampshire RG24 8G, referred to as the “Volunteer Program”, with both the Volunteer and Volunteer Program collectively referred to as the “Parties”.
II. Confidential Information. All data, materials, knowledge and proprietary information generated through, originating from, or having to do with the Volunteer Program or persons associated with its activities, including but not exclusive to clients, delegates and contractors, is to be considered Confidential Information and is not to be disclosed to any outside party. This includes, but is not limited to, documents, information, designs, printed matter, policies, procedures, conversations, messages (received or transmitted), resources, contacts, e-mail lists, e-mail messages, whether internally between staff or outside the Volunteer Program is confidential and the sole property of Volunteer Program. The Volunteer agrees to return all and any written material at the end of any event.
III. Clients. Client information, including all file information, is not be disclosed to any third party, under any circumstances, without the written consent of the Company.
IV. Damages. Any disclosure, misuse, copying or transmitting of any material, data or information, whether intentional or unintentional, will subject Volunteer to disciplinary action, prosecution, and/or monetary damages according to the procedures set by Company and any applicable laws.
